Problems with csh

I have had very little in the way of answers to my previous query about csh,
possibly because  I am unable to use  readnews on this machine.  If you have
any  helpful suggestions,  please  send them  to me  directly at any  of the
addresses listed below.  I include a copy of my previous message in case any
of you have forgotten.

	I am trying to get 2.8 bsd V7 csh to run under UNIX System III, and it
seems to be having trouble expanding wildcards in filenames.   I've managed to
narrow it down, and it seems that gpath is not being set properly, but I'm not
sure what to do about it.  Has anyone had a similar problem, and does a simple
solution exist?  Please write or call ASAP.
