Berkeley 2.9 ??????

	According to the people at the Winter Uniforum conference 2.9 no
longer has ANY people working on it.  Indeed, Berkeley supposedly no longer
even has a MACHINE to test 2.9 on!  Anyway, whoover gave the talk asked if
people wanted 2.9 sent out 'as is' (which apparantly isn't so great)

	Anyway, everybody said 'YES, SEND IT', and the Berkeley person said
that he would tell the secrateries to start mailing.  That was in January.
