2.9 and Boom Boom Land

Not very often but sometimes 2.9bsd goes out to lunch..

No more echoing characters,all ttys dead..

Here are some details:

cpu  11/23
ram  256k
disk fuji 160 emulex sc01 controller
tape dilog dq130
tty's mdb lsi-dz,dlv11-j


anyone ever heard of this problem??? any fixes ?? any pointers ??
Any info will help.

ps.. also real time process are enable but this occurs even with NO
process's running rtp()
