I am about to buy an Exabyte drive for a Sun 4/280S, but have recently
seen some read/write CD devices in the UK market which look like they
would do as good a job as the Exabyte, but faster.
The suppliers and products are:
Arrow Computer Systems:
Pinnacle Micro REO 650 and REO 1300
Alphatronix:
Inspire ISS10 and ISS20
Computer International:
Optimax
The first two of these products come from the US and I believe that the
Inspire system has been around for about a year now.
Can anyone relate any experiences (good or bad) of these products or the
companies that manufacture them?
