'sethi displacement overflow at x' message on 4/65

We have recently purchased a group of Sun 4/65's, and are having the
message 'sethi displacement overflow at x' come up on the console while
starting up sunview or any window application.  Did we do something wrong
in the installation, or is this a known bug?
