info on AIX3 filesystem internals

Where should I be looking for information on file system
internals for AIX v3 ? 

InfoExplorer seems to have insufficient information. If
the manuals are the place to look for it please specify
the volume and section, since I have not been able to 
find any relevent information on the internal layout of
the j-filesystem.
