A/UX FPU requirement(how do I get around it on the IIsi?)

I am soon to become a user of apple's A/UX. Unfortunately, I've just learned
that it requires an FPU to run. Since I have a Mac IIsi, and would rather not
spend the cash necessary to get an FPU, I was wondering if anyone had any
ideas about fooling A/UX into thinking I have an FPU. It's easily done under
the standard system software with various inits, but can those be used under
A/UX? I assume things are different in that environment, so inits aren't going
to function the same. Speed is not a problem, I'm not looking for it to run
like a bat out of hell or anything. My setup is thus:
Mac IIsi
5 Meg ram (original)
80 Meg Hard drive (original)
13 inch applecolor monitor.
Thanks. Please reply via e-mail and I'll summarize to the net. I can't really
trust this news feed.
