WDFAST scsi on ISC 2.2.1, anybody try it?

Has anyone tried the WDFAST controller instead of the Adaptec 1542B?
A distributor has told me that several of his customers are using it and it
has significantly better performance than the Adaptec.  He said that it
comes with drivers that work with 2.2.1 and that also support the Archive
2150S scsi tape. It costs only $25-50 more than the Adaptec.

Can anyone confirm/deny the above?
