What you are doing wrong is trying to install the drivers.  Interactive
Unix includes the ICC drivers.  If you have 2.2 look on the additional drivers
disks.  If you have 2.02, I think that you have to upgrade to 2.2.  I used
the ICC boards for over a year with no problems.  The only thing that you
MUST remember is that the ICC uses a LARGE on board ram buffer that is
addressed as system memory.  You MUST have a memory area in the 16 meg area
that is NON-CACHED, or the board WILL NOT WORK.  Most mother boards and
systems include a ram area for this.  In the case of compaq, there is usually
a switch on the mother board that disables cach from 14meg to 16 meg. On older
Mylex boards, you had to buy a PAL upgrade that did the same thing.
