Thanks, all for your responses.  Essentially they all have said the same
thing as the party above - its a good board, and I (rwing) plan to go with
it.  In a few weeks, rwing will be noticebly perkier (if it lasts that long
with the hole that has been discoverd)

As an aside - regarding this security thing that has generated so much
traffic I note that Microport plans on POSTING a fix.  Perhaps ISC and
other vendors should do likewise????  And perhaps EMAIL it to those
that have contacted ISC via e-mail ...  It would help less-than-great
cust relations regarding support policies, not to mention affected
sites...
