schain botch

[Dennis R. Conley]

An associate has a small ( ~150 line ) C program which chokes the 4.3
compiler with an "schain botch" error. This error originates in the
file pftn.c in the compiler source, but I'm not at all comfortable
mucking around in there.

Any clues/suggestions would be appreciated.
