/etc/cron

	We have a PDP-11/44 here running 2.9BSD. I've found that programs
run by cron get the 'daemon' user id.

Is this correct behavior?

If not, should I alter things so it runs as 'root'? (As our 3B20 SysV2.2 does)
Could this change be hazardous? Does cron really *need* to be run as 'daemon'?
