.sh NAME
neqn \*- typeset mathematics on terminal
.sh SYNOPSIS
.bd neqn
[ file ] ...
.sh DESCRIPTION
.it Neqn
is an
.it nroff\^\c
(I)
preprocessor.
The input language is the same as that of
.it eqn\^\c
(I).
Normal usage is almost always:
.s3
	neqn file ... | nroff
.s3
Output is meant for terminals with
forward and reverse capabilities, such as
the
.if n \%TELETYPE(Rg.)
.if t \%\s-2TELETYPE\s+2\(rg
Model 37
or GSI (DASI or DIABLO) terminals.
.s3
If no arguments are specified,
.it neqn
reads the standard input,
so it may be used as a filter.

.sh BUGS
Because of some interactions with
.it nroff\^\c
(I),
there may not always be enough space left before and after
lines containing equations.
