This is the /usr file system for ix, shorn of most material that may be copied bodily from research unix (v8,v9,v10). ./root is a copy of the root file system. As ix uses a different size inode, it will take considerable work to bring the stuff up; you must begin with mkfs. Single-user mode has all privileges but still requires the lmask feature of nosh to exercise them. Other advice is in ./man and ./src/doc. A listing of appropriate security-label settings is given in ./adm/cl.out. Devices are listed only to reveal existence; their labels are supplied automatically (U is unusable). Set unlisted labels to: directories mentioned ------ ------F 0000 ... other directories ------ ------F ffff 0000 ... files ------ ------ ffff 0000 ... "Mentioned" means mentioned in any path. Funny uids (mostly reeds or doug) may be understood to be bin. You can run with labeling off by fooling with labinit. Because most contents of /dev are unreadable, its contents are largely excised. Here is what existed there at shutdown. ./console ./log1 ./ra02 ./ra10 ./ra16 ./rra04 ./rra12 ./stderr ./drum ./mem ./ra03 ./ra11 ./ra17 ./rra05 ./rra13 ./stdin ./kUmem ./mtpr ./ra04 ./ra12 ./rra00 ./rra06 ./rra14 ./stdout ./kmc0 ./null ./ra05 ./ra13 ./rra01 ./rra07 ./rra15 ./tty ./kmc1 ./ra00 ./ra06 ./ra14 ./rra02 ./rra10 ./rra16 ./worm0 ./kmem ./ra01 ./ra07 ./ra15 ./rra03 ./rra11 ./rra17 ./worm1 ./dk: dk03 dk11 dk19 dk27 dk35 dk43 dk51 dk59 dk67 dk75 dk83 dk91 dk04 dk12 dk20 dk28 dk36 dk44 dk52 dk60 dk68 dk76 dk84 dk92 dk05 dk13 dk21 dk29 dk37 dk45 dk53 dk61 dk69 dk77 dk85 dk93 dk06 dk14 dk22 dk30 dk38 dk46 dk54 dk62 dk70 dk78 dk86 dk94 dk07 dk15 dk23 dk31 dk39 dk47 dk55 dk63 dk71 dk79 dk87 dk95 dk08 dk16 dk24 dk32 dk40 dk48 dk56 dk64 dk72 dk80 dk88 dkctl dk09 dk17 dk25 dk33 dk41 dk49 dk57 dk65 dk73 dk81 dk89 dk10 dk18 dk26 dk34 dk42 dk50 dk58 dk66 dk74 dk82 dk90 ./fd: 0 104 110 117 123 15 21 28 34 40 47 53 6 66 72 79 85 91 98 1 105 111 118 124 16 22 29 35 41 48 54 60 67 73 8 86 92 99 10 106 112 119 125 17 23 3 36 42 49 55 61 68 74 80 87 93 100 107 113 12 126 18 24 30 37 43 5 56 62 69 75 81 88 94 101 108 114 120 127 19 25 31 38 44 50 57 63 7 76 82 89 95 102 109 115 121 13 2 26 32 39 45 51 58 64 70 77 83 9 96 103 11 116 122 14 20 27 33 4 46 52 59 65 71 78 84 90 97 ./log: log00 log04 log08 log12 privlog setlablog log01 log05 log09 log13 pwlog shutdownlog log02 log06 log10 log14 seclog sulog log03 log07 log11 log15 sessionlog
