My first goal is to achieve modern x86 system support. After all,  somebody was able to get Unix Version6 to run on a 286 system. Eventually, achieve modern 64bit system support.

And which hardware do You plan to support ? Unix Version 7 was as I
understand designed for PDP-11 etc. Do You have running PDP machine ?
