I do have a copy of the source. It's all marked up with comments like:
* Copyright (c) 1984, 1985 AT&T
* All Rights Reserved
* THIS IS UNPUBLISHED PROPRIETARY SOURCE
* CODE OF AT&T.
* The copyright notice above does not
* evidence any actual or intended
* publication of such source code.
But then again so was all the other dmd/layers stuff at the time, and
most of that was opened up, if I'm not mistaken, by Dave Dykstra
(e.g. the dev5620 package even came with a GPLv2 COPYING file).
So I suppose I could make it available....
