This.  I recognized this in Linus decades ago and it's why I switched to
Linux.  I was a BSD (aka SunOS) guy big time and I left that because
of what I saw in Linus.  I miss BSD a little but am quite happy with
Linux.  Say what you will about his rough edges, he's held it together
for a long time.  Kudos.
