[TUHS] Quick Question: Early Filesystems and Name/Metadata Separation?

I still recall being surprised in the early 70s upon learning that the 
filename was not part of the file (I came from OS/360 and RSX-11); I 
thought it was odd, then realised the sheer genius of it.
