He was the advisor, but the club ran itself.  After I went off to college
they and Claude had a falling out and the club moved to the Princeton campus,
with the new advisor being my father.

It was all lost, burned to the ground. Fortunately a few of the items,
notably the PDP-8 that DEC gave us, had been given away. There were a
bunch of old manuals that I took when I left, some of which I sent you
to scan for bitsavers.

The PDP-8 is now at the InfoAge Museum in Wall NJ, and has been
restored by volunteers so it works again. Here's a video of the very
PDP-8 on which I learned to program:
