A trip down a rabbit hole led me to CSTR 132: A System for Algorithm
Animation Tutorial and User Manual.  A search for the source turns
up nothing.  Does anyone know if a copy of the code is squirreled
away somewhere?  I would really like to resurrect this on Plan 9
if I can (expecially the 'movie' viewer).
