Yes I believe that is right.  I had forgotten that Shannon had it before
Armando.  I don’t remember which of us had it first, me in MA or Shannon in
NH. We both landed in NE nearly the same time, but he did preceded me.  So
I’m going guess he must have had the NH plate a year or so before I did.

That said, Armando had it on his (Datsun - not yet Nisson) Z car.
Somewhere we have a picture of both his Z and my Capri parked next to each
other.

An interesting factoid. In those days NH had two plates, but MA only had
one.  Someone told the story of his replacing the real plate on the front.
In my case, I got another plate from him and that was my front plate. When
the new series was issued and I got two and kept the second one in the
garage even though the colors were different front and back.  Many folks
(including a cop at one point) looked at the front and thought I was from
NH.


That scheme worked for a few years but I got flagged at inspection time and
was forced to bring the car back with both plates.    I thought about
switching back, but by then MA had pretty much pulled the older green
plates from the road and I decided just to leave it be.
