sunview doesn't seem to use the .sunview file correctly.

Has any one seen this problem and knows what to do about it? We have a Sun
3/160 running SUNOS 4.0.3. Below is the contents of my .sunview file.
____________________________________________________________________

cmdtool -Wp 0 0 -Ws 670 71 -WP 0 0 -Wl "<< CONSOLE >>" -WL console -C
clock -Wp 497 32 -Ws 210 47 -WP 684 4 -Wi -r
textedit -Wp 259 98 -Ws 753 764 -WP 788 0 -Wi
mailtool -Wp 492 71 -Ws 670 720 -WP 856 0 -Wi -Wf 100 100 0
shelltool -Wp 28 108 -Ws 650 567 -WP 968 0 -Wi -Wf 0 255 105
shelltool -Wp 1 71 -Ws 568 829 -WP 924 0 -Wf 255 0 0
shelltool -Wp 570 73 -Ws 582 826 -WP 1088 0 -Wf 0 0 255
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Invoking sunview doesn't do what it should do however. Since we have a
color monitor mailtool should be colored. It isn't! In fact the first line
with a -Wf clause is never in color. Nothing seems to help this. Also
from time to time the machine gets into a mode that only one of the two
open shelltools described on the last two lines in the file actually
appears. Rebooting solves this latter problem but the next day the problem
reappears. When sunview in invoked with the same .sunview file on a 3/50
all shelltools appear. Of course they are not in color. You can contact
me directly or post the answer in sun-spots if you think it is of general
interest.
