Hi Warren,
Happy to be here and happy to pay!
Someone suggested smaller monthly payments and I guess maybe that might not work with GoFundMe but I'd be happy to pay up to AU$10 every month.
I do have PayPal and Wise so could pay either into a PayPal account or into a bank account, every four weeks when I get paid. Either way I see the GoFundMe page is locked right now but I definitely want to...

Have a great weekend!

Hi all, I'm going to turn 60 in May and I've been running (and paying for)
the TUHS server since I was about 30 :-)
I've also retired from work and now live a life full of horse-related
activities -- my wife rides, I'm just the ground crew and pooh collector.
Hitting 60 has made me realise that we need to have some form of
succession plan for TUHS for when I'm no longer able to keep maintaining
the system. To that end, over the past year I've picked a few of the
people on the TUHS list to help with the general management of the server,
Minnie. The "TUHS team" are:
Clem Cole, Dan Cross, David Arnold, Greg Lehey, Kevin Bowling,
Larry McVoy, Matt G, Thalia Archibald, Warner Losh and Will Senn
The TUHS team also forms the basis of the succession plan: they have the
authority to make changes on the TUHS server, based on consensus within
the team. And, if/when I'm not able to keep doing things, the TUHS team
will continue with the care and feeding of Minnie.
Also, now that I no longer have a salary, I've decided that it's time to
allow others to help out with the yearly funding of the TUHS server. It's
about US$1000 for the Linode plan that we are using. So, after 30 years,
I'm finally announcing this GoFundMe plan for the TUHS service:
https://gofund.me/7cc603ea3
Once we hit the yearly target, I'll turn off further contributions:
I am only after enough to keep the server up and running.
So that's where we are. I hope you've been happy with the TUHS work
over the past 30 years, and I'm keen to see it continue indefinitely :-)
Cheers, Warren
