On the other hand, for a few hundred dollars you can build a Microsoft 
PI simulation of an 11-70 (the PiDP-11/70 kit even comes with a pretty 
cool scale model of the control panel).
I’ve got it chugging away running 2.9 BSD right now (though I can boot 
of the Really Sh-ty Timesharing System for old time’s sake).    One of 
these days, I’ll switch out the kernel to
the BRL one that I spent ten years working on.
