If you want to play around with stuff like this but can't, I'll plug
my friend Dave McGuire's Large Scale Systems Museum in the Pittsburgh
area. It's really worth a trek if you enjoy unix history, you can
walk up and boot unix on a PDP or VAX. Ken Shariff did a review a
while back https://www.righto.com/2019/10/a-visit-to-large-scale-systems-museum.html.
