Vp/ix Bug (was vp/ix and Interactive SysV 2.2)

When vp/ix running under ISC 2.02 or 2.2 writes to a file that already
exists in a Unix filesystem:

	The touch date of the file doesn't change; but the creation
	date changes.

	Files that are supposed to be overwritten don't get cleared, so
	that if the new version of the file is shorter than the old one,
	there's junk at the end.

These problems appears in any C program using creat, and probably
others which use the DOS interrupt that creat uses.  I haven't had
time to trace the problem into the DOS interrupt.

Ideas anyone?
